THE COMPANY

Menapy (www.menapy.com) is a development and investment company founded in 2017 by impact investors and solar veterans. We help multinational industries become more sustainable and save on energy costs without the investment, via our on-site “solar as a service”.

We think global and act local, through international cooperation with best-in-class technical partners. The industrial solar systems are built and operated on rooftops, parking (carports) and land of customer all over Western Europe, out of our offices in Belgium, France, Spain, and Italy.

Supported by a strong shareholder structure with a long-term vision, Menapy has already built and secured more than 60 MWp of solar projects, representing over 140.000 solar modules. We are an ambitious international team that is moved by the challenges humanity is facing. THE OPPORTUNITY

Considering our international growth path, we are looking for a Project and Asset Manager for the Italian market.  

You will be part of a young company in a very dynamic sector with an international and multidisciplinary team that offers many opportunities for career development. You will work in close cooperation with the group Finance Manager and our Managing Director Belgium.

The job requires frequent (online) meetings, but you choose where to work from (home, co-working office, Menapy office).

 

THE MISSION

• Business development: help the team to identify, qualify, contract, develop and follow-up on solar projects with multinational industries. Providing general support and advice on contracts with customers, suppliers, grid operators, insurance companies and financial institutions.
• Project development: once projects are contracted, help our project engineers to coordinate the feasibility studies and obtain the necessary permits and licenses and assist in structuring the project finance, before handing over the project to our project management team.
• Asset management: ensure the performance of our solar plants and satisfaction of our customers and investors, interlinking costs and revenues to the operational performance in close cooperation with external and internal O&M and finance support.

 

 

MAIN SKILLS:

• A bachelor or master’s degree in finance, engineering or economics.
• Highly self-motivated with creative thinking and an appetite for adventure, international business and business planning.
• Ability to work autonomously with organizational skills with a drive and creativity to overcome any barriers to prioritize tasks and goals.
• Knowledge of local / national requirements and regulation in commercial and industrial solar power development.
• A technical, legal or financial education is an added value.
• Comfortable in dealing with legal and regulatory issues.
• Fluent in Italian and English.
